It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman William Kortes (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Norman shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Norman farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Antoinette and Kortes (Koutsokostas); and his sister Mariena. He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his children, Kathy Kortes-Miller (Kevin) and Michael (Cindy Wong); and his grandchildren, Allegra, Dawson, Reed and Asher.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Corpus Christi R. C. Church (664 Red River Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7B1H8).
