He was predeceased by: his daughter Marla Elizabeth; his grandson Clayton James; his parents, Martti and Tyyne; and his siblings, Olavi, Toivo, Veijo, Jack, Paul, Karen and Heli.
He is survived by: his wife Seija (Tuomi); his sons, Brian (Anita) and Bruce (Rhani); his grandchildren, Ryan (Safia), Christine (Matt), Carol (Kriev), Arianna (Nikk) and Mariah (Derek); his great grandchildren, Johanna, Mayson, Tristan and Dayton; his brother Martti (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Tuomi (Kathy) and Inga Laukka.
