She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pearl Lawlins and Irvin Lawlins; her husband Ken Currie; her sons, Calvin Currie (Brandie) and Jason Currie (Ann); her grandchildren, Caly (Brandon Morrison), Shirley Lynn, Jaymie (Austin Blackburn) and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Bryson, Kenneth, Malakai Morrison and Jaxon Blackburn; and her sisters, Evelyn Hughes and Dorothy Kufflick.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Cancer Research Society, or the Terry Fox Foundation.
