He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Kopachynski and Julia Kopachynski; and his siblings, Janeane, Wanda, Stella and Philip.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Spooner; his brother Ted; his children, Thomas (Margaret) and John (Sasha); his grandchildren, Robert, Jami, Jakib Rhiannon (Tom), Nathan, Amelia (John) and Taylor (Rob); and his friend Darlene Maki. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
