Pauli Himanen Obituary

In loving memory of Pauli Himanen of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who departed this world on November 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Pauli leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Raija; and his brothers, Sakari and Sauli. He is survived by: his children, Juha (Eva), Kari-Pekka (Joanne), Catherine (Kimmo), Marcus (Rebecca) and Michael (Sarah); his wife Marja-Leena Pylvainen; his stepchildren, Allan (Cara) and Tina (Mike); and his sisters, Vuokko and Raita.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harbourview Funeral Centre (499 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4R9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
