Richard Mervin Wanakamik Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025, at the age of 70, Richard Mervin Wanakamik (Thunder Bay, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Mervin Wanakamik to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander and Alice; his grandparents, Frederick and Josephine (Dorothy); and his son Lance Mitchell.

He is survived by: his son Darby (Shawnessy); his grandsons, Dawson (Lil Richard) and Tracy Rose; his siblings, Jocelyn, Dolores, Doris (Brent), Juanita, Marla, Alexander, Brian, Randy, Melody (Michael), Kayla, Brendon, Kirsten, Liberty, Logan, Jamilee, Brianne, Daylyn, Alanis and Lacey; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Patrick, Brody, Lila, Emerson, Korben, Hunter, Audrina, Mya, Sienna, Michael Jr., Weston, Xxayler and Kyler.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM.

As per Richard's request there will be no church services and no flowers.
