He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Arthur and Eva May Postans; and his siblings, Connie Ogden, Patricia Postans and Walter Postans.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Fulton; his children, Nancy Nix (Chester) and Garth (Susan); his grandchildren, Eli Nix (Sarah), Joshua Nix (Trina Heasman), Leah Nix (Yoan Soilen), Noah Nix, Ethan Postans (Mandy Mellerup) and Keenan Postans (Arbenita Shabani); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Oscar and Finn Nix; his parents-in-law, Dorothy, Elwood Walberg, Violet Fulton, Margaret Postans, John, Nellie Fulton, Tom Fulton, Jimmy Fulton, Mary Fulton, Ellen and Stan Cook; and his nephew Barry Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
