He was predeceased by: his parents, John Quisses and Ina Quisses (Moonias); his daughter Vida Moonias; his wife Louisa Ida Moonias; and his granddaughter Wilda Sakanee.
He is survived by: his children, Rosalie Sakanee, Rufus Moonias (Lynette), Genevieve Moonias (Sammuel), Rodney Quisses (Chelsea), Clayton Quisses, Nathan Oskineegish and Justin; his grandchildren, Deandra, Jahene, Azriel, Shakur, Callie, Teyaundra, Carson, Arianna, Ilayna, Braven, Liearra, Layka, Raiden, Rosie, Cathy, Bryanna, Tyeesha, Natasha, Isiah and Logan; his children, Redman, Hannah, Tiearra, Joudist, Melton, Lennox and Teannah; his great grandchildren, Rosie, Shirlene, Aiven and Airlynnand; his siblings, Bertha Quisses, Rita Waboose (David), Gary Quisess (Evelyn), Doris Quisses (James), Danny Quisses (Anita), Zelda Quisses and Melissa Quisses (Jason); and his cousin Irene Moonias. He is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jenkens Funeral Home (226 Syndicate Ave S, Thunder Bay, ON P7E1C8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lansdowne House.
