Robert Airth Hilliard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Airth Hilliard (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ida (Tergie); his parents, Thomas Hilliard and Reta Hilliard; his siblings, Howard and Marion Shields; and his former wife Georgette Pineau.

He is survived by: his children, Dale (Cathy), Fred (Gail), Roberta (Lawrence Taylor) and Marion; his grandchildren, Michael Hilliard (Jeanine), Kevin Taylor (Valentina), Jill Taylor (Danielle), Kristy Hilliard and Kelly Hilliard (Chris); his sisters-in-law, Joan Hilliard and Elizabeth Villeneuve; his parents-in-law, William and Anna Tergie (Hurkett); and his siblings-in-law, Homer Shields, George Tergie, Andre Audet, Steve Villeneuve, Walter Jackson, William Collin and Celia Collin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
