It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Paajanen (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Taisto Paajanen and Aileen Paajanen; his grandparents, Ilmi, Vilho Wiitanen, Oscar and Aino Paajanen; his sister Beverly Kraft; his brother-in-law Randy Kraft; and his cousins, Eric Erickson and Violet Leeyus.
He is survived by: his significant other Bonnie Bennett; his children, Robert Bennett (Jennifer Read), Debra Lynne and William Kenneth; his grandchildren, Meredith and Elise; his daughter Debbie Prete (Saverio); his grandchildren, Braedan, Briana (Jake) and Avery (Matt); his son Billy (Tami); his grandchildren, Mikayla and Ashley; his sister Brenda Oinonen; his sibling's children, Tyson, Tanya, Kelly, Krystyna and Kaitlyn; and his close friends, Karen, Reg Woodbeck, Marg, Larry German, Mike, Roz Jurcik, Anna, Tony Zappitelli, Forrest, Kathy Notwell, Tuula, Andy Kilgour, Wendy, Rick Kostick, Jean Papineau, Pat Halverson, Ken Gravelle and Jack Robertson. He is also survived by children, sisters and his mother.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a celebration of Bob's life will be held in summer 2021 with his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's name to the "Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay" or "Camp Quality Northwestern Ontario" or the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association through Harbourview Funeral Centre.
