He was predeceased by: his father Richard Podlaski; his stepfather Gary Soderholm; and his uncle Brian Kowalczyk. He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Araya; his mother Sandra Soderholm; his brothers, Jamie (Aryanna), Joey (Eva) and Dale (Kayli); his grandparent Marion Loda (Eddie); his aunts, Wendy Kowalczyk and Darlene Lepinsky (Mark); and his close friend Tammy Blake.
