He was predeceased by: his father James Sims; his brother James Sims; and his grandparents, Joe, Edythe Safar, John and Eileen Kornish.
He is survived by: his mother Wendy Sims; his nephew James Sims; and his uncles, Greg Safar (Dawn) and Wade Rippengal. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
