It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Wallace-Smith of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wallace and Anna Wallace; and her siblings, Betty Christianson (Fred), Elsie Wadge, Anne Spencer (Wes), Mary Saylor (Percy), Marg Tomchick Wilson, Grace Young (Tom), Isabelle Willard (Gordon), Jean Carpenter (Henry) and Joseph Wallace.

She is survived by: her pet Henry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
