She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Barnes and Helen Barnes (Karl Lang). She is survived by : her friends, Norm, Jasmine Oullette, Karen Costa, Susie, Lorenzo Veltri, Steve Abbott, Casey Rowlinson, Tuula Kilgour, Sheila Wilson, Larry, Helen Grace, Joni Halonen, Christina Vanbarneveld and Faye Wen; her pet Mia; her daughter Andrea; her stepsons, Chris Lang (Andrea) and Greg Lang (Kim); her grandchildren, Jesse, Dustin Lang (Burlington), Jenna and Jayda Lang (Thunder Bay); her cousin Susan Wall (Minesing); and her caregivers, Amanda, Kyle, Sheila and Donna.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Thunder Bay and District.
