He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela Scali and Vincenzo Scali; his siblings, Luigi (Angelina), Giuseppe, Nicodemo and Angela Luca (Giuseppe); his parents-in-law, Giuseppina and Francesco Furfaro; his brothers-in-law, Domenic Lombardo, Nicodemo Albanese and Nicodemo Rinaldis; Allison Dawn Seuret.

He is survived by: his wife Carmela; his children, Dr. Jim Scali and Josie Riccio (Tony); his grandson Vincent Riccio (Vanessa); his great grandchildren, Olivia and Matteo Riccio; his siblings, Cosimo Scali (Giudittina), Giuseppina Rinaldis and Caterina Cardillo (Angelo); his siblings-in-law, Rose Albanese, Mena Lombardo and Greg Furfaro (Susan) of Thunder Bay; his sister Anne; and his brother-in-law Sam Fiorenza of Ottawa, ON. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
