Sylvia Joyce Sammis Ventrudo Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2024, at the age of 91, Sylvia Joyce Sammis Ventrudo (Thunder Bay, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel R. Ventrudo of Consumer's Foodland; her parents, Roy Newberry and Elizabeth Newberry (Maxwell); her parents-in-law, Frank and Maria Ventrudo (Grasso); her brother Bruce Newberry; her siblings-in-law, Jackie Newberry, Kathleen Newberry, Bert Ventrudo and Eugene Ventrudo; and her nephew David Ventrudo.

She is survived by: her children, Jill Zachary (Dan) and Dan Ventrudo (Sharon); her grandchildren, Janna Zachary (Jean-Louis), Erinn Zachary (Iain), Bryndis, Anderson Ventrudo and Sister Elizabeth Renshaw (Vernon); her siblings-in-law, Jerry Ventrudo (Susan), Wilma Ventrudo and Mimi Ventrudo; her nephews, Ronald Ventrudo (Debbie), Mark Renshaw (Hilda) and Alan Renshaw (Patty); her niece Jennifer Mercier (Raymond); and her cousins, Liza Cook (Gay) and Glen Cook.
