He is survived by: his wife Carla Chalat; his mother Gertrude Chalat; his sister Patti Garbutt; his daughters, Tammy Chalat and Kim Chalat; his grandsons, Cy Mann (Tia Annivale), Bryn Boyer and Karsten Morozzo; his niece Nicole Garbutt (Scott Letkeman); and his great-nephew Porter Garbutt-Letkeman.
