Torsti Hynna Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Torsti Hynna in Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Markku; his parents, Selma Hynna and Ilmari Hynna; his brothers, Eino and Kaarlo (Pirkko); his uncle Arvo Lamppu; and his brother-in-law Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Nelly; his daughters, Taina (Mike) and Taimi (Doug); his grandsons, Michael, Anthony (Danielle) and Lucas; his great grandchild Kiara; his siblings, Lea, Martta (Bill) and George (Martha); and his sister-in-law Marie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be live streamed on the Hilldale Church Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com COVID-19 Protective measures are still being applied in group settings. Masks or face coverings and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet are both mandatory for those attending the services.
