It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Esther Hagberg (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Hagberg; her parents, Hilma Hytonen and Hjalmar Hytonen; her brother Willy; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret, Bertha Pudas, Helen Martunnen, Anne Prime, Fred, Walter, Leonard and Art.

She is survived by: her nieces, Karen Parker, Dawn Hytonen and Gina Flaherty; and her in-laws, Irma Hagberg, Arlene Maxwell and Kenneth Hagberg.
