She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; her parents, Magdalena Szkwarek and Jozef Szkwarek; and her siblings, Jan (Stefania), Mieczyslaw, Eugenia Bergamasco (Edmund) and Christine Philipp (Oswald).
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Lofts (Gary), Loretta Kwasniewski and Anita Smith (Ian); her grandson Ryan Smith; and her sibling's children, Alicja Mischuk, Melissa, Oliveira (Whitby) and Robert Philipp (Toronto).
