We announce the death of Victoria Owchar (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 98. Victoria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bartholemew Kindzierski and Pauline Kindzierski; her siblings, Charles, Bernice, Valerie, Frank, Mary, Rose, Steffanie, Olga, John, Joe, Edward, Victor, Bert and Adeline; and her son Edward.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Jones, Lynda (Henry Bobinski), Bill (Margo) and Dennis; her daughter-in-law Shannon; her grandchildren, Seanna Jones, Tiffany Jones, Chris Bobinski (Amanda Topetto), Kurt, Peter Owchar and Jason Owchar; and her great grandchildren, Samantha (Stellan Philion), Emily and Sebastian Bobinski.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sargent Family Reception Centre (21 Court St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4T4). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
