It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Jean Huovinen (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Jackson and Ron Jackson; her daughter Carrie-Ann; her husband Jarmo; her sister Judy Whiteway; and her nephew Brian Whiteway.

She is survived by: her son Chris (Ashley); her grandchildren, Sophia, Lucas and Morgan; her sister Janice Redden (Terry); and her niece Erin Whiteway.
