Vivian (Vieno) Treichler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2021, at the age of 95, Vivian (Vieno) Treichler (Thunder Bay, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oskari Niivila and Hilda Niivila; her siblings, Edna Pykari and Olavi Niivila; her nephew Lorne Pykari; and her niece Lorna Lehvonen.
She is survived by: her children, Mitch (Kim), Doug (Carol) and Stanley; her grandchildren, Mitchell II, Tressa (Kyle), Jacob and Madeline; and her sister Aune Roper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, COVID protocols are still being applied in group settings. Capacity is limited to allow for social distancing of 6 feet, a record of attendance must be maintained and wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory for those attending the services.
