He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon and Eugenia; and his brothers, George (Olga) and Walter. He is survived by: his nieces, Christine Cooper (Kent) and Stephanie Martyniuk; his great-nieces, Miranda Tulin (Jamie Bruce) and Alexandra Cooper; and his great-nephew Thomas Cooper (Julia).
