He is survived by: his wife Mary (Dietiker); his mother-in-law Edna Dietiker; his children, John (Linda), Deborah Duguid (Rene Ledger), Tracy, William (Donna) and Wendy Slobozian (Jose Pires); his grandchildren, Jason (Jenn), Ahron (Callie), Joshua and Jenna; his brother Morris (Carol); his sister-in-law Janice Dietiker; his siblings, Jean (Alan), Shirley Allison (Chester), Dorothy Hertz (Eric), Beatrice Hamlyn (Bob), Albert Groves (Anne) and Donald Groves (Daisy); his brother-in-law John Dietiker; and his caregivers, Julie, Meredith and Angie.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, or St Andrew's Dew Drop Inn, as they were the two associations that Dad regularly donated to.
