He was predeceased by: his mother Suzannah Nothing; his uncles, Tommy Fiddler and Alex Fiddler; his aunt Ruby Beardy; his grandparents, Ellen Sainnawap and Edward Fiddler; and his great-grandparents, Samson Beardy and Nellie Beardy.

He is survived by: his children, William John Nothing, Eric Nothing, Jennifer Nothing, Rae-Ellen Milletic and Roger Young; his siblings, Wesley Nothing, Anna Robinson, Linda Nothing, Tricia Nothing and Frank Redskye; and his aunt Dora Beardy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
