He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Magdy and Anna Magdy; his wife Annie; his siblings, Frank, Edward, Fred, Gus, Victoria, Isobel, Edna, Nellie and Margie; and his nephew James Antosiak.

He is survived by: his children, Brian (Barbara), Alan (Kerry) and Jo-Anne (Ron Ferguson); his grandchildren, Brett, Heather, Chloe, Erick and Nathalie; his sister Carol-Ann Cluff; his sister-in-law Julie MacIver; his nephew Norm MacIver (Lisa); and his niece Susan MacIver.

Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.
