He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank and Gertrude (Watson). He is survived by : his brother Frank (Shawne); his nieces, Betsy (Alec), Margaret (Scott) and Katherine (Nooch); his sister Anne Kelly; and his nephews, Jeff and Stephen (Julie).

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (180 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M5K4). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Seminary, London.
