He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Marentette and Albina Marentette. He is survived by: his wife Pauline (Durocher); his children, Greg (Theresa), Chris (Brenda), Dave and Lynn Natyshak (Tim); his grandchildren, Ryan (Jacqueline), Juliana (Darren), Kelly (Francisco), Joshua (Samantha), Melissa (Adam), Kurtis (Erica) and Amy (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Quinn, Nathan and Rivietz; his siblings, Henry (Jean), Theresa Cheney (Jack), Cecile Tracey (Stan) and Clem (Delores); his parents-in-law, Rene and Bella Durocher; and his siblings-in-law, Emelda Bechard (Ray), Annette, Louis (John), Mary Anne Parent (Charles), Rachael Chauvin (Clarence) and Carol Kassa (Bill).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reaume Funeral Home Inc. (6 Canal St W, Tilbury, ON N0P2L0). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (32 Canal St W, Tilbury, ON N0P2L0).
