She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her sons, John and Bill; her parents, John Ouellette and Loretta Ouellette; and her siblings, Jack Ouellette (Jennie), Beverly McRonald (Ken) and Joyce Miles (Jim).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristin (Mitch), Brett (Kaylee) and Derek; and her great grandchildren, Teagan and Nora. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shirley's memory to St. Peter's Church or Tilbury Help Centre.
