It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Altino DeMeneses Soares (Tillsonburg, Ontario), who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Celestino Moreira and Alice Moreira. He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Altino Soares Jr. (Teresa Cain), Messias Soares (Trish Ferrera) and Peter Soares (Julie Thiessen); his grandchildren, Joshua, Brendan, Sophia, Stella, Lucas, Kallee, Rya, Ursula, Jack and Thomas; his great grandchild Lincoln; and his siblings, Zelia Sousa (Liberal), Alice Blanchard (Wally), Paula Ridell (Dave) and Suzy Moreira (Steve).
