He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Maele and Elisa Van Maele; and his sister Julia Laplante. He is survived by : his spouse Jean Van Maele; his children, Richard Van Maele (Kim), Joanne Freund (Joel) and Michele Mostacci (Luciano); his stepchildren, Pam Bruder (Allen), Deb Ditner (Karen) and Greg Vandendriessche (Elsa); his grandchildren, Anthony, Megan (Mike), Davis, Jena (Joey), Kendra, Matthew, Alison and Eric; and his sister Margaret Vanlaeken.

Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice may be made by contacting Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
