He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Zei and Katherine Zei (Müller); his brother Peter Zei; and his parents-in-law, Peter Seitz and Katherine Seitz.
He is survived by: his son John Zei (Mary); his grandchildren, Lori (Jeremy), Angela (Andy), Jonathan, Michael and John Zei (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Violet and Alexander; his sister Elizabeth Schweitzer (late John) of Delhi; his sister-in-law Julianna Zei of Tillsonburg; and also, Rosemary Hahn (Carey), Anthony (Katie), Cavan, Patrick, Vivian, Kate (Denis), Morgan, Dylan, Galen, Michael Hahn and Elizabeth Zei. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
