Carla Houtman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carla Houtman (Tillsonburg, Ontario), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carla Houtman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henk Straeter and Trudy Klaassen. She is survived by: her daughters, Caroline Miller (Victor) of Thunder Bay, Barbera Ommen (Dennis) of Brookings and Karen Rowe (George) of Thunder Bay; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Leanne, Kaitland Miller, Allison, Dylan McIsaac, Adrianna and Megan Rowe.
In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and the fact that the majority of Carla's family members do not reside in Tillsonburg a virtual time of reflection and memorial service will take place with Pastor Steve Amorin of the First Baptist Church in the near future.
Memorial donations in her memory to the "First Baptist Church Building Fund" or to "Parkinson Canada," can be made through Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., Tillsonburg (519-842-4238), which has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
