Christopher Hayward Obituary

We the Hayward family, sadly announce the sudden passing of our much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend, Chris J. Hayward, of Tillsonburg, on August 28th, 2021, at the age of 51. Chris was born in Owen Sound, to Reg and Elaine Hayward, of Tillsonburg. Much loved brother of Tim (Robin) Hayward and caring uncle to Tyberius, of Tillsonburg.

Chris will be remembered as a good hearted, selfless person. He was quiet and had a passion for theater and sports. Chris was a proud Chicago Bears and Toronto Maple Leaf's fan; he could often be found donning one of his favourite teams' jerseys. A private family gathering to celebrate Chris' life has been held in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg.

In keeping with Chris' wishes, cremation followed with later inurnment to take place in the St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Vienna.
