He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sanders and Marjorie; and his brothers, Ronnie and Mark Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Brigid; his children, Ted Sanders (Tricia), Sherry Sanders, Chris Sanders (Becky) and Michelle Nichols (Ben); his grandchildren, Joey, Maggie, Eric, Josh, Ava, Eli, Brenden, Zach and Ethan; and his sisters, Darlene Horner, Debbie Pattyn (late Mike), Kim Winton (Paul) and Cheryl Ann Vaughan (Derek).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ostrander's Funeral Home (43 Bidwell St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3T6). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church (88 Bidwell St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3T8).
