He was predeceased by: his father Paul D. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Oliver and Vivienne; the mother of his children Gretchen; his mother Jenny Gofton (Daniel); his stepfather John Gofton; his siblings, Tim Smith (Anna), Scott Smith (Carrie) and Chelsea Smith (Andrew Cilinsky); and his stepsisters, Cindy Gasparetto (Ron), Heather Brazier (Mark) and Jennifer Hewitt (Dan). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephew, cousins, and friends.
