He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Margaret McQuiggan (Sherman); his parents, George McQuiggan and Ida McQuiggan (Brady); his son-in-law John Foris; and his siblings, Ruth, Marie, Merlin, Max and Harold.

He is survived by: his children, Marg Reid (Brian) of Tillsonburg and Gary McQuiggan (Rosemary) of Langton; his grandchildren, Melanie Jenney (Jonathan), Carey Duncan (Mike), Tiffany Foris (Andrew), Justin McQuiggan (Crystal) and Michelle McQuiggan (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Kira, Nathan, Dakota, Tybee, Eli, Emily and Alissa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the McQuiggan family.
