He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer VanHaverbeke and Maria VanHaverbeke; his sons, Leon and Greg; and his siblings, Lianna, Willmert and Ozzie.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn T. Vanhaverbeke (Coderre); his son Brad VanHaverbeke of Langton; his grandchildren, Larissa, Josh, Kyle, Dustin, Aleah, Taylor and Kaylee; and his sisters, Mary (Walter) and Edna.
