She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kalyan and Elizabeth Kalyan (Chadee); her foster parents, Howard Sherman and Minnie Sherman; and her sisters, Lena Boyd and Virginia Sing.
She is survived by: her siblings, Christina Jagernatha (Shame) of Trinidad, Agnes Rachaman (Nazul) of Trinidad, Winston Kalyan (Indra) of Trinidad, David Kalyan (Pullan) of Trinidad, Deanna Woody (Joe) of New Hamburg, Donna McMullen (late Donny) of Otterville, Julie Clifford (Gary) of Norwich, Darwin Sherman (Barbara) of LaSalette and Lloyd Sherman (late Cherrill Sinden) of Tillsonburg. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
