He was predeceased by: his daughter Joy; his parents, Jim Pettman and Leota Pettman; and his sisters, Jean Holland and Joan Sharpe.
He is survived by: his sister Diane (Dave Hurley); his children, Douglas (Sharon), Suzanne (Steve Bowker) and Marjorie (Robert Leyland); his grandsons, Shane Pettman (Audrey), Jared Pettman (Rachel Nieman), Sean Bowker (Jessica), Seth Pettman (Kayla), Brent Bowker (Ashley), Nicholas Bowker (Lainie McBride), Josh Leyland (Rachel) and Matthew Leyland; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Ella Pettman, Hudson Pettman, Connor, Erin Bowker, Gordon, Andrew Bowker and Nora Leyland.
