He was predeceased by: his children, Rick Van Daele and Kim Van Daele; his great grandchild Ashley (Chad Andrews) of Tillsonburg; his siblings, Susie Dalby, Julian Van Daele and Roger Van Daele; and also, Avery, Ethan, Ryan Van Daele of Guelph, Justin Van Daele of Guelph and Colin Van Daele of Simcoe.
He is survived by: his wife Simone Van; and his sister Georgette Hooyer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial And (40 Queen St, Langton, ON N0E1G0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Church (24 Albert St, Langton, ON N0E1G0).
