He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Gowman and Annie Gowman; and his son Russell. He is survived by: his spouse Fern Gowman (Brittain); his children, Barbara Glass (Doug) of Vanessa, Ross Gowman (Tracy) of Stayner, Kurt Gowman (Donna) of Whistler, Lynn Gysbers (Martin) of Brockville and Chris Gowman (Barb) of Tillsonburg; and his sister Doreen Campbell. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
