He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Mauersberger and Maria Mauersberger (Reichel); and his siblings, Paul, Fritz, Frieda, Martha, Elsa, Martin and Walter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ilse of Germany and Werner of Germany.
