Helen Safranka Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2026, at the age of 91, Helen Safranka (Tillsonburg, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Helen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Fazakas and Annie Fazakas (Dubitz); her husband Dejohn Safranka; and her sister Joyce Lachance. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine of Oakville and Laurie of Toronto; and her grandchildren, Nikkole LeBrun-Cote (Phil) of Hamilton and Joel LeBrun (Alex) of Oakville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Tillsonburg Cemetery (191-193 Simcoe St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G1E0).
