He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Schroder (Keupink) and Johannes Schroder; and his siblings, Johan, Gerard, Ben, Marie, Riek and Annie.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his grandchild Hendrikus "Hank" Johannes; and his children, Henry (Carrie) of Ottawa, Janet Tysiak (Kevin) of Fenelon Falls, Brian (Mary) of Milton, Marcel (Kari-Anne) of Richmond Hill and Karen (Rick Wong) of Kitchener. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and dozens of nieces, nephews.
Hank and Ann continued their love story despite his long battle with Alzheimer's.
