He is survived by: his wife Inge Faehrmann; his children, Julie (Dirk Sommer) of Sarnia, Gabrite Faehrmann of Hamilton and Carl Faehrmann (Katharina) of Ottawa; and his brother Helmut (Ruth) of Germany. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
