He was predeceased by: his spouse Norma (Gregg); his parents, George and Mildred; and his siblings, Betty (Jim), Mary (Bill), Barb (Bill), Jack (Jonny), Bill (Bea) and Jake.

He is survived by: his children, Brian and Anne; his grandchildren, John (Julie Anne), Eric (Shirlyn), Heather (Stéphan), Kurt and Brad (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Johanna, Jillian, Ethan and Aubrey; and his sister-in-law Dorothy.
