He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret; and his father Franz Bergen. He is survived by: his wife Susana Bergen (Loewen); his children, Josiah, Luke, Titus, Victor and Astrid; his siblings, Frank (Wonita), Isaak (Lisa), Peter, John (Jennifer), Abe, Helen, Trudy Hildebrandt (John), Henry (Emma), Susie (Josh) and Nancy; and his mother Helena Bergen (Klassen). He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
