He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules and Madeleine; his siblings, Roger Vermeersch (Jacqueline) and Maria Verhaeghe; and his brothers-in-law, Albert Vermeersch and Frank VanLouwe.

He is survived by: his wife Christine; his sons, Brian Vermeersch (Carol) and Barry Vermeersch (Cathe); his grandchildren, Brandon Vermeersch (Breanna), Ashley Knoflook (Josh) and Connor Vermeersch; his great grandchildren, Klay and Hailey Vermeersch; and his sisters, Annie VanLouwe and Paula Vermeersch.

Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the Vermeersch family.
